Are you planning a getaway to La Vélide and would like to plan your trip using people with the Accueil Vélo label to make your life easier? All accommodation, bicycle rental/repairers, tourist offices and visiting sites which have this label are visible on the map in itinerary or here :

1.Be informed about the best route to reach your Accueil Vélo

2. Be welcomed : you, your bike, your bags…
Be able to easily contact your Accueil Vélo and be informed about what it offers and the other services you may need: repairers, rental companies, laundry, etc. Have available documentation on the area's cycling routes and circuits as well as tourist documentation.

3. Be able to park your bike for free on site or nearby thanks to arches or in a closed, secure and level room. All Accueil Vélo accommodations will provide you with this space.

4. Be able to leave your bags and luggage during your break via a security service, lockers and luggage storage (free or paid). This service may not be offered for security reasons – for example due to a vigipirate device.

5. Being able to recharge your phone, your GPS during the break.

6. Being able to recharge the battery of your VAE ; this service may not be offered due to regulations in certain historical monuments for example.

7. Have a complete repair kit available for small damages: puncture equipment, standard set of keys

Are you a professional and would you like to be identified as a bicycle tourism specialist ? Five types of services can apply for the accreditation Accueil Vélo :

I must be located near a cycle route listed in the national, regional or departmental plan (to be checked with the assessing body).

For each category of establishment, a reference system makes it possible to identify the criteria to be respected in order to obtain the mark. So remember to read the practical Accueil Vélo guide which can be found further down the page to put all the chances on your side.


I must meet all the mandatory criteria of the Accueil Vélo quality framework corresponding to my field of activity.

How to become Accueil Vélo ?

  1. Send a request to my assessing organization via the form below
  2. The evaluator organizes a control visit to verify that the establishment complies with the criteria of the quality framework.
  3. Authorization to use the brand for 3 years if the criteria of the Accueil Vélo reference are respected
  4. Signature of the commitment to the Accueil Vélo framework and payment to the evaluating body of a financial contribution to the implementation of the Accueil Vélo brand, in the amount of 200 euros for 3 years (the financial contribution is intended to cover the costs inherent to the inspection visit and the provision of communication tools: welcome plaque, stickers)
